Reservely (WINNER)

Make quick, online reservations with any restaurant in Canada. Simply find a local restaurant on a map and complete the online form. You'll receive confirmation of your reservation. Reservely integrates data from YellowAPI.com with the powerful Twilio API which allows for automated phone communications to the desired restaurants. DateShake

DateShake is a gorgeous app built by the folks at Select Start Studios. Their goal: build something that would allow someone to randomly find a friend on Twitter, find a restaurant based on their location with YellowAPI.com and then find a random movie to watch after dinner from the Zip.ca API. Just shake your phone!

PubCrawl (WINNER)

The Cakemail folks (Christian Joudrey, Cedric Dugas, Arthur Gouveia) presented an online pub crawling tool framed in a slick-looking, user-friendly interface. First a user chooses the area where you want to party, then pick your pubs, re-order the list, create an event poster with a QR code sending anybody who scans it to the mobile version of the crawl list and share your event on Facebook & Twitter! YellowYELLR

YellowYELLR is a desktop client application for Mac OS X, developed by Erin Kennedy. The app uses YellowAPI.com to find the perfect place for the specified WHAT near a WHERE. But there's a twist: the app uses Mac OS X's built-in Speech-to-Text to recite the result to the user. Even more: the user can answer back using the Speech Recognition technology of the operating system, making this app extremely accessible. Erin's website here. (+embed video)

Deal it to Me

Deal It To Me is a simple iPhone app developed by Elliot Sinyor that shows you the closest deals based on your location. It grabs the current store deals from RedFlagDeals.com and then uses the YellowAPI to show more information about each store, including location and phone number. This app was built during the YellowAPI ConFoo HackFest in Montreal!

Developed by Mohannad El-Barachi & Stephen Young, YellowRank is a tool geared towards business owners who wish to see where they rank for keywords on YellowPages & compare these results to Google local results (local packs).
